Fahad's whole read on gold came down to two things after the sweep of major liquidity on the stream: VWAP and 3,873. This post covers how to trade gold using VWAP the way he laid it out, plus the silver trigger at 52.2 and the one rule behind his oil scalps. He put it plainly: 'I would not like to see gold reverse from right here. Honestly, I would want another major pullback.'
Key Takeaways
- A sweep only matters if price reclaims quickly, and 3,873 decides whether the bullish read survives at all.
- Wait for the close below 52.2, and treat any VWAP reclaim as a reason to stay flat until 53.4.
- Counter-trend trades are the ones that break scalping streaks, and 50x on a manual account makes the damage worse.
- After a fast push, a 15-minute consolidation pays nobody, so name your two zones and let price pick one.
- The technical side is the easy part. A win rate holds only while you keep following your own rules.
Gold swept major liquidity, and Fahad wants a pullback before any long
Gold swept major liquidity, including a 2025 level, and reversed, but Fahad did not take that as a green light. He expects a strong pullback first, wants to buy a pullback or a VWAP reclaim, and shorts if VWAP is lost. A break below 3,873 support, with 3,870 as the floor, kills the bullish read.
A sweep alone is not an entry, and Fahad wanted gold to come back down: 'I need it, man. I'm not even kidding. I want gold to give a good pullback.'
Speed is what separates a real sweep from a failed one. 'If it gets swept, you need to reclaim it very quickly. You have to be very aggressive.'
The chart below shows gold on 15-minute candles with 3,873 and 3,870 drawn in.
VWAP is the volume weighted average price, so it marks where most of the session's business got done. Fahad's version is dynamic and he was still testing it live, so his line may not match the one on a viewer's screen.

| Scenario | Trigger | Invalidation or risk |
|---|---|---|
| Long | Sustained close above VWAP with clear structure, or a good pullback buy | Losing 3,873 or the 3,870 area |
| Short | Loss of VWAP, or a clean close below the previous candle low, taken on a smaller timeframe | VWAP reclaim. Fahad called it a risky, gambling-type trade |
The short side was a shot, not a conviction. For a calmer take on the same line, see how a gold VWAP rejection plays out without forcing the trade.
Silver turns short only below 52.2, and 53.4 cancels the idea
Silver is a short only after a close below 52.2, the previous 8-hour candle close, since the current consolidation does not read as bullish. If VWAP is reclaimed, Fahad stays out of shorts until price reaches 53.4. Silver also tends to follow gold, so a gold short can carry over.
The trigger is a close, not a guess. 'Shorting right now purely on the basis of price action isn't making any sense,' Fahad said. He also named the 52.4 area as a strong confirmation, and it is drawn on the chart below with 52.2 and 53.4.
Fahad asked, 'Why does silver pump when gold pumps? Why does silver dump when gold dumps?' and answered it himself: both have 'extremely, extremely similar fundamentals.' Watch gold's VWAP and silver's 52.2 side by side.
Bitcoin ran from 77,000 to 81,000 and then stopped giving trades
Bitcoin pushed from roughly 77,000 to about 81,000, reversed around 1% from the high, then settled into a 15-minute consolidation. Fahad called that chop not worth trading. He watches two zones, a sweep of the marked box below or a push into major resistance above, and wants a clear break first.
Four thousand points in a short move, then nothing. 'Bitcoin needs to move in a certain direction,' Fahad said. 'Otherwise, we will trade it on a smaller timeframe and scalp the smaller moves.'
His reasoning on the wait: the longer price sits here, the more liquidity builds up, and either it dumps or he gets a bigger trade on a bigger timeframe. The chart below has 77,000, 81,000 and 79,800 marked.
Caption: Bitcoin zones Fahad kept on the chart
| Zone or scenario | What it means | How Fahad treated it |
|---|---|---|
| Sweep of the marked box below | Possible reaction zone | One of his two zones in view |
| Dump without tapping the box | The most bullish read in his view | Watched, not chased |
| Push into major resistance above | Needs a clear break | The other zone in view |
| Viewer's long on a sweep of 79,800 | Not bad, but the market is doing nothing | Low expectations |
| Staying in the 15-minute range | Heavy consolidation | Not worth trading |
The 81,300 to 81,500 target on the chart was a viewer's projection, not Fahad's. Ethereum followed the same plan as Bitcoin and had not triggered. Our notes on trading BTC in choppy conditions cover the same patience.
A 61% win rate over 70 trades came from discipline, not a better setup
Fahad's journal for the last 70 live trades shows a 61% win rate, an average win near 70,000 against an average loss near 30,000, and a profit factor around 3.59R. His argument is that once the technicals are clear, profitability depends on stopping yourself from breaking your own rules.
He put total profit at about 31 lakhs across those trades, with the figures as he stated them on the stream. The average win is more than twice the average loss, and that gap only exists if you cut losers and skip the trades your rules forbid.
'If you can stop yourself from doing all these things, that's it.' The danger he flagged was breaking rules after a win, and our overtrading notes make the same point.
He told a beginner asking about starting with $100: 'Mindset is 99% of your trading. Okay, obviously after learning the technicals.'
For beginners he kept the screen simple:
- Price chart on top
- Open Interest below it
- CVD below that
- Use only this for two to three months
Footprint comes later, after Level 1 and CMM. See Open Interest and CVD in a range for that layout in use.
He closed with conditional plans rather than calls: gold on a VWAP reclaim or loss, silver below 52.2 with invalidation above 53.4.
Fahad kept returning to one idea: the edge sits in what you refuse to do. No counter-trend scalps in oil, no shorting silver chop before a close below 52.2, no trading Bitcoin's 15-minute range just to be active. Gold's plan was built the same way, with 3,873 as the line that told him when to stop believing his own thesis. Even the gold short, which he called a gambling-type trade, had a VWAP reclaim as its exit. Every idea came with its own cancel condition, and that is the part worth copying. Frequently Asked Questions
- How do you trade gold using VWAP after a liquidity sweep?
- Trade it as a conditional plan: buy a good pullback or a sustained close above VWAP with clear structure, and short only if VWAP is lost, on a smaller timeframe. The sweep itself is not the entry, and it needs a quick reclaim. Fahad treated a break below 3,873, near 3,870, as the bullish thesis failing.
- Where is the silver short trigger and what cancels it?
- The silver short trigger is a close below 52.2, the previous 8-hour candle close. A VWAP reclaim cancels it, and Fahad stays out of shorts until price reaches 53.4. He also mentioned the 52.4 area as a strong confirmation, and said silver often follows gold, so a gold short can carry over.
- Why should scalpers skip every counter-trend trade?
- A counter-trend scalp breaks the one rule that kept Fahad's oil trades clean. His rule is that if a trade is against the trend, you do not take it, however good the confirmation or momentum looks. During the oil dump that meant only shorts on pullbacks, with the long button effectively ignored.
- Is 50x use too much for manual oil scalping?
- Yes, Fahad called 50x way too much for manual trading. He said oil needs more margin than Bitcoin, and that scalping works with enough capital and tight control of position size. Oil moved roughly 1% every 15 to 30 minutes during the dump, so a 50x position leaves very little room for a manual stop.
- What order flow layout should beginners use for their first two to three months?
- Fahad's beginner layout is a price chart on top, Open Interest below it, and CVD below that. He said to use nothing else for the first two to three months. Footprint charts come later, once the beginner has mastered Level 1 and the CMM material, in his Level 1, Level 2, Level 3 progression.
